Early reporting over the holidays
If you have a reporting period ending December 23, 2023, you can complete your report early. This helps ensure that you can receive your payments without delay during the 2023-2024 winter holiday season.
- Clients who live in Ontario, in the Western provinces or in the Territories will be able to report on Monday, December 18 from 7:00 pm.
- Clients who live in Quebec and Atlantic provinces will be able to report on Tuesday, December 19 from 7:00 pm (7:30 pm in Newfoundland & Labrador).
Clients who report electronically will be notified of the early reporting dates via the Internet Reporting Service and the Telephone Reporting Service.
Once you complete your early report, if there is a change to the information you provided, contact Service Canada.
Direct deposit dates
Due to statutory holidays, the direct deposit dates for the 2023-2024 winter holiday season may vary.
If you complete your report on:
- December 18, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 20.
- December 19, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 21.
- December 20, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 22.
- December 21, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 27.
- December 22, 23, 24, 25, or 26, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 28.
- December 27, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 29.
- December 28, your direct deposit is scheduled for January 2.
- December 29, 30, 31 or January 1, your direct deposit is scheduled for January 3.
2023 T4E tax slips
Your T4E tax slips will be available in My Service Canada Account (MSCA) as early as February 1, 2024.
The deadline to change your address for T4E mail delivery is January 11, 2024. If you need to update your address, contact Service Canada.
You can stop your T4E from being mailed by selecting "online" delivery in MSCA by December 31, 2023.
